My technique is an expert blend of digital research and traditional painting.

1. Preliminary Study

My process begins with a digital study of the foundation. Exploring the infinite possibilities of colour, I select a colour scheme that resonates with my artistic vision. Once I’ve chosen the ideal colour scheme, I print it in a small size to serve as a reference throughout the process.

2. Tracing on canvas

The smaller pieces are done on a 30cm cardboard canvas; for larger works, I use a traditional canvas. I use a compass and pencil to draw the composition of circles, minimally modifying the measurements in order to give a unique touch to each work. I then proceed to free-hand colouring with a brush and acrylic colours, without the traditional use of masking.

3. The magic of pigments.

The unpredictable nature of pigment mixing bestows an ethereal sense on each artwork, rendering it unique. My paintings are distinct from digital art, as I modify and reverse the colours.  3-5 coats of colour have to be applied to make each part uniform. I personally blend the custom colour compositions, beginning with primary hues. For each paint, I use small jars which are numbered 0-9; this ensures accurate colour selection for each layer.

4. The luminous touch
of iridescent colours.

In the pursuit of captivating visual impact, I frequently incorporate iridescent pigments, particularly gold, though I also use silver and bronze. These are strategically positioned in one or more areas created by the intersection of the circles, in order to create a stronger visual. The iridescence and its interaction with ambient lighting provides a unique and enthralling dynamic.
