I wish to express my sincere gratitude for this thoughtful and in-depth review. My thanks go to the author for the seriousness and clarity with which she explored my work, and to Singulart for making the connection between me and the gallery possible.
I am pleased to share it and invite you to read it in full—the conclusion conveys a powerful and deeply motivating vision.
ARTISTIC OVERVIEW What is the strength of the portfolio? Laura minimalism-geometric abstraction is handled with personal warmth. She demonstrates a mastery of color theory and acrylic layering, resulting to very clean surfaces. She has a great understanding of hue relationships and psychological color impact. The golden touch in each compositions brings light and depth to the flat geometry. I particularly like "Deep Blue" with his particularly harmonious nuanced shades of blue and the golden touch enhancing the composition. I find it meditative evoking both cosmic with the gold and aquatic with the shades of blue. Where does the reviewer see room for improvement? Diversify the scales and more especially working on larger scale could enhance the immersive impact. The aesthetic could be even more amazing. Introducing sometimes subtle disruptions like asymmetries or symbolic elements could challenge the viewers and push the conceptual depth. Who or what could the artist follow, study, or draw inspiration from? Sonia and Robert Delaunay for their use of color theory and rhythmic circular forms; their lyrical abstraction could deepen Laura color-driven compositions. Hilma af Klint for her spiritually charged geometric abstraction; could be interesting to deeper the metaphysical meaning. Mark Rothko for the emotional weight of his colors, working on layers and transparency. His subtle shift in tone and saturation evoke powerful mood. PROMOTIONAL ASSESSMENT Where do you see the artist positioned in the art market in terms of audience, pricing, and estimated market potential? Laura has a strong potential in both art and interior design. Her art has a universality and a decorative strength appealing to collectors that appreciate geometrical abstraction touched by the Optical art and Bauhaus style. Her contemporary abstraction will appeal to architect and high-end interior decorators looking for a clean and calming aesthetic. Her pricing is very affordable which is a good strategy to built her collectors. Laura website and exhibition history show a well structured portfolio with good documentation and clear conceptual statements. Laura's art has a great growing potential if she expands into art fairs focused on abstraction and design. CONCLUSION Finally, what advice would you offer this artist in relation to the objective of this review? Laura's paintings are both visually structured and emotionally engaging. Her work reflects a deep sensitivity to balance, light and forms. If Laura deepens the conceptual side of her work while continuing to produce at high technical quality, and ifshe works on larger scale she will strongly position herself on the art market.

Design Week 2025
April 7-13, h 10-19
The ‘Lantana’ rug, designed for Boralevi Firenze, showcased in Milan.
It’s always exciting to see a project take shape, transforming from an initial idea into a tangible reality. This rug was born from my encounter with Boralevi, a renowned name in the world of fine carpets, and our shared vision of turning my artistic research into a unique design piece.
Handwoven by master artisans in Nepal, it is crafted from a blend of wool and silk, with a density of 100 knots per square inch. The relief technique adds depth and movement to the pattern, sculpting the surface with elegance. Inspired by the vibrant colors of the Lantana flower, it radiates energy and luminosity through shades of yellow, orange, fuchsia, and gold, achieving a perfect balance between art and material.
Now it’s here in Milan, at my atelier in Via delle Foppette 2, c/o Studio Mamo Room, ready to be seen in person!
If you’re in town for Design Week, come and discover it from April 7th to 13th, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

Amorpha - March/April 2025
Collective Exhibition
by Imperfecta Gallery,
Oregon City, USA
Skin Harmony’ is on display at Imperfecta gallery in Oregon City, US! Seeing it exhibited for AMORPHA fills me with joy and gratitude. The AMORPHA collective exhibition brings together abstract artworks that explore rich, unapologetic commentaries on contemporary life. I am honored to be part of it with Skin Harmony, a painting where circles—inspired by the skin tones of different ethnicities—intertwine, creating connections. Diverse skin tones merge into a harmonious visual language that celebrates the beauty of diversity.
A heartfelt thank you to Daria Loi for her curatorial vision and for selecting Skin Harmony for this exhibition.

Solo exhibition
at 'The Lab'/FLA
For Milano MuseoCity 2024, FLA's The Lab space, the museum's area factory dedicated to emerging artists, presents Laura Rota, a Milanese artist who creates abstract and geometric paintings in captivating colours, all rigorously painted with the brush and without the use of masking. A kind of ultra-contemporary stylized mandalas where nothing is left to chance, from the in-depth study of shapes to the harmonious combination of colours.
Years of work as a successful graphic designer have shaped her sense of compositional and chromatic balance, transforming it into a creative need that the artist explores through painting in the "Rotations of Circles" series.
The works, all composed of several intersecting circles, capture and concentrate the viewer's gaze within the painting, an almost hypnotic invitation to "enter" the work, to alienate oneself from everyday life in order to welcome beauty, harmony and positive emotions.
In homage to MuseoCity's theme of the year, "Worlds in Milan", Laura Rota presents "FREEDOM", a large canvas (170 x170 cm.) painted with the original 8 colours of the Freedom Flag. A gesture of hope, a wish for an end to all forms of discrimination and war, for a more welcoming and harmonious future.
The exhibition is completed by monochromatic canvases in shades of golden bronze and white ivory, a tribute by the artist to the work of Flavio Lucchini and his fashion art.
The painting has been done live during the days of MuseoCity, with a grand finale on Sunday 3 March, when the work was completed.
