Sand powder, pink, sugar paper blue & gold
Tribute to Giorgio Morandi
Shades of ivory, sand, powder pink, sugar paper blue and, of course, the brightness and elegance of gold.
These delicate colours help to create a light and relaxing atmosphere. It is a perfect image for essential spaces. Light wooden furniture and light walls, but it can also brighten up darker walls.
This work will bring balance and well-being to your surroundings, welcoming you with serenity every time you return home.
This work of mine is a tribute to Giorgio Morandi, whose art has profoundly influenced my vision, for his use of desaturated, muted, almost dusty tones, whose subjects are ordinary, non-noble things, ennobled by the very fact of being portrayed. Vases, wild flowers, fruit trees, farmhouses. His work evoked in me a sense of security in the everyday, of intimacy and peace.
Medium & material: acrylic on 100% cotton canvas.
Dimension: 60x60 cm.
Place & date of realization: Milan, December 2023
